SUMMARY:Responsible for asset quality, development and communication of credit policies and procedures, focusing on mitigating risks and loss to the Bank. Oversight of all aspects of credit quality including effective monitoring, collection, construction disbursements, loan recoveries and regulatory compliance. Provides overall support in achieving strategic and Bank performance goals.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the collection efforts and works with outside counsel as necessary with problem loans. Oversees special investigations and related projects, such as loan fraud investigation, analysis of industry trends, and evaluation ofloan policies and unique loan situations.
- Ensures the accuracy of risks ratings on all credits, manage and collect adversely risk rated credits and recommend specific loan loss reserve provisions as necessary and provide an assessment of loan condition and quality, independent of the loan function.
 - Coordinates with the Chief Lenders onthe evaluation of loan portfolios, internal policy controls, risk ratings and overall loan management.
- Prepares and presents required information for submission to Credit Review Committee of the Board, including anyfindings having an adverse effect on loan collateral or a borrower’s ability to repay the loan. Selects and manages the credit review process with independent credit review firm.
- Supervises all functions of credit analysis, ensuring that quality, objective credit analyses are included in loan packages presented to various loan committees, senior bank officers and board members.
- Provide leadership through guidance, mentoring and by leading and attending meetings with the division. Ensures excellent internalcustomer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15years of commercial bank credit experience; minimum of 5 years in an executive managementrole.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Extensive knowledge of all lending and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of collections, workout and loan review procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
